As much as I absolutely adore make up, and look forward daily to the ritual of putting on my make up, to tell you the truth, I am a make up minimalist. This is not to say I wear a minimalist make up look… oh no! I personally do not feel like myself to do the ” no make up, make up look”, as it is too neutral for my liking. I feel my best when I am in a bold chic red lip, and this is a look I have kept up consistently for many years. While this post is titled that it is my flight attendant make up look, I actually wear this look every day no matter what I am doing.

My daily look takes only 7 products. These products I am very loyal to, and I have repurchased them over and over for at least a decade or more. I use a range of inexpensive drug store brands, and some more expensive treats that I am quite fond of. Best of all, 7 products take up very little room to pack in my suitcase.
1.) Jane Iredale Glow Time Full Coverage Mineral BB Cream I like that this is not a foundation, but a BB cream, and it has SPF 25! I get this at dermatologist med spa.

2.) Coty Airspun Loose Face Powder This translucent powder has been around since the 30’s. It’s perfect to tone down a dewy look that comes from the BB cream above. I personally just prefer a “formal” made up matte face to a dewy skin look.

3.) Milani Tea Rose Powder Blush This affordable blush has very nice pigment, and I love the rose stamped powder.

4.) Wet & Wild Ultimate Brow Retractable This is a very inexpensive but nice precision tool. I am one of the few people who are not into bold thick brows. I like more of a thin vintage eyebrow, and this is nice for shaping them a bit more refined.

5.) Maybelline Great Lash Mascara This old standard has never failed me. It is a classic that has been a favorite drug store brand for many decades.

6.) Charlotte Tilbury Eyes to Mesmerize in Marie Antoinette This is a little splurge I bought at Selfridges. I love the formula that goes on as a smooth cream powder. It does not crease, and I find that for my simple tastes this one eye shadow is all I need on my lid. It is a gorgeous rich shiny brown.

7.) Red lipstick : Either Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution in “The Queen” or Besame Cosmetics in “American Beauty” . “The Queen” is made by Charlotte Tilbury in honor of the very shade Queen Elizabeth wears, so of course I think it’s stunning. The “American Beauty” shade by Besame is an exact match to my flight attendant scarf red. Both colors are long lasting matte formulas that I find to flatter my very pale skin. I think they flatter all skin tones actually! Everyone can pull off a red lipstick.

While it is always fun to play around with other make up looks, I know that this 7 piece set is certainly my favorite and loyal combination. I have these with me anywhere I go, to make me feel my best version of myself.
