Welcome, I’m glad you are here! I’m Adrianne Martelli. I am an optimistic, creative, “old soul” who loves vintage glamour, red lipstick, and adventure. While my college degree and background is in the fashion industry, I feel blessed to have stumbled into an entirely different career direction, working as a flight attendant. I absolutely love my career! It is the combination of my three favorite jobs ( lifeguard, barista, & fashion professional) all wrapped up in a bow. Additionally, this career allows me to have time to be creative on the side, and I treasure that.
I was formerly crowned “Miss Rockabillaque Florida”, Pin Up Pageant winner. I’m honored by this title, and I am delighted to be a modern girl (edit: woman over 35 years old!) representing the vintage vibe of yesteryear. In my opinion, a little bit of glamour and inspired femininity can really make a lady feel good about herself. I hope my posts can inspire some of this good vintage glamour vibe, but in pairing with a fully modern look as well. I would say I enjoy modernity with a vintage flair most days.
I started this blog as my personal creative outlet and inspiration contribution. I am passionate about many of life’s pleasures, and will write about these areas in my blog. I love femininity, being creative (especially sewing and drawing), fitness, travel, trying recipes, and practicing the power of positive thinking. I embrace the opportunity to get older, and feel age is just a number, but I also enjoy trying to figure out how fight the signs of aging. As a person who despises debt, I am quite frugal and live simply (out of a suitcase much of the time), but still budget so I can enjoy life’s pleasures with planned purposefulness. I am a person of faith, and I try to make a concerted effort to focus on blessings each day, as it helps me deal with both the good, and difficult times.
I live in Fort Myers, Florida with my wonderful husband, Joseph, who is the love of my life. I also partly reside in Columbus, Ohio, where I am based for work. This to me is a blessing, as it allows me to frequently visit my family and friends who are just a couple hours from my base. I am very thankful for my entire family, for the Lord, and for my friends.
